Marc & Zed Sustainability Policy

Marc & Zed is committed to sustainability in all aspects of its business. We believe that it is our responsibility to reduce our environmental impact and to help create a more sustainable future through ESG.

We are committed to the following sustainability goal towards  the UNDP 2030 sustainability goals:

• Reduce our energy consumption - We will use energy-efficient technologies and practices to reduce our energy consumption.

• Reduce our carbon emissions - We will offset our carbon emissions through renewable energy projects.

• Use sustainable materials - We will use sustainable materials in our operations.

• Support sustainable businesses - We will partner with sustainable businesses to provide training and services.

We will measure our progress against these goals and report on our results annually. We are committed to continuous improvement and to making our business more sustainable every year.

Specific actions we will take to achieve these goals include:

• Switching to a green web hosting provider - A green web hosting provider is a company that uses renewable energy and other sustainable practices to power its data centers. Our website and services are provided by Google Workspace through Google, a proponent in sustainability (read here: https://sustainability.google/)

• Using energy-efficient technologies - We will use energy-efficient technologies, such as LED lighting and energy-efficient appliances, in our offices and data-centres.

• Implementing energy-saving practices - We will implement energy-saving practices, such as turning off lights when they are not in use and recycling paper and other materials.

• Offsetting our carbon emissions - We will offset our company's carbon emissions through renewable energy projects, such as wind, hydro and solar farms (as outlined by TNB and EMA).

• Using sustainable materials - We will use sustainable materials, such as recycled paper for our offices and training materials.

• Partnering with sustainable businesses - We will partner with sustainable businesses to provide training and services.

We believe that by taking these actions, we can make a positive impact on the environment and help create a more sustainable future.
